Thanks to NFT technology and the ownership it grants to MetaSoccer users, they can make decisions about the assets they own. In this case, users have the option to retire a player regardless of the player’s age.
Retiring a player is a significant decision. It is important to note that this operation is final and results in the permanent deletion of the asset. However, as compensation, the owner is granted Training Tokens (TT).

When a Player is retired, the owner receives a fraction of its value in Training Tokens. The quantity of Training Tokens depends on various factors such as the Player’s age, the Overall and the number of Special Abilities.
The amount of Training Tokens (TT) granted is determined by the following formula:
$$ m = \left( -\frac{1}{96} \cdot a + 0.6458 \right) \cdot \left( 0.00835 \cdot \text{sa}^3 - 0.05005 \cdot \text{sa}^2 + 0.1417 \cdot \text{sa} + 0.8 \right) $$

The resultant $m$ variable is the multiplier that should be applied to the TT value of the following table, depending on the player's Overall rating:
